What to Expect
Welcome to a off the beaten path food walking tour, where you will get to taste all kinds of local food, learn about the different regions’ cuisines, hear about the Chinese culinary habits, get tips on how to select specialties in the shops and experience how it truly feels to be a local in China.
Your Guide will meet you at Exit C of Dongsi Subway station(Line 5 or Line 6) and you will start your food adventure. You will visit Lishi hutong, Here you will get to experience what it truly feels like to be a local on a more personal level without the crowds. Feel free to ask your guide as many questions as you like. For adventurous foodies there is food that will surprise you. By staying off the beaten path you will also have a unique chance to support a local community while being entertained by the sights and smells of the true Beijing.
