What to Expect
You will meet your friendly guide at the North Entrance of the National Theater. After enjoying the "eggshell" by French Architect Paul Andreu set out to the Tian'anmen Square. The national flag raising ceremony in every morning and the flag lowering ceremony in every evening is the most solemn thing on the Tiananmen Square. You will get to see this important even, the lights on the surrounding buildings start to light up gradually. Hear from your guide about the history of the Square and functions of all the buildings. Then you will have short time to take photos.
Continue walking to the Wangfujing Street. On the way you will stop at the Ruins of the city Wall to take a look. Wangfujing Street is famous for its shopping and food. Your final destination is Wangfujing Church which is an early 20th-century Romanesque Revival church that is one of the four historic Catholic churches in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Beijing.
