The walking tour of Bath was one of the highlights of our stay. We were fortunate enough to be guided by Andy, a fun, knowledgeable, engaging guide who we recommend 100%! In the following days in Bath (and to be honest, also many more times since we came back home), we found ourselves mentioning some interesting facts we learned from Andy, and we just look at buildings, streets, parks and cities with a different lens. I think this is the best we could have hoped for: a tour that not only gives you a nice couple of hours, but that also changes the way you look at the world around you. Thank you Andy!

Our guide, Andy, was very informative and entertaining. Tour was full of information and helpful pitstops every 10 minutes or so where you could sit (on grass/ perch on leanposts) and listen to Andy's stories. We appreciated this as didn't think we'd be able to walk non-stop for 90 minutes, which was not the case at all. Our group was a fairly large one in size (20) but that was the maximum and we didn't feel over-crowded. Generously answered all questions and enthusiasm was infectious. Gave us pointers for further exploring in own time, which we will definitely do on another visit. Highly recommended.

This was a superb tour with an outstanding guide who pitched her talk perfectly. She was extremely informed and informative, able to bring the history of Bath to life in a way few can. She organised the tour very sensibly, going through historical periods (pre-Roman, Roman, medieval, Georgian) and choosing her route to match these periods with the physical development of the settlement. Her responses to questions were outstanding: not only was she open to questions, she was able to contextualise the question and offer a reasoned and historically supported response. She was also mindful of the exceptional heat, finding areas in the shade where we could pause: she was often the one standing in the sun. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.
