Our tour guide Veronica was pleasant, welcoming and knowledgeable. She gave us lots of interesting information about the history of the Duomo and was very patient and understanding with my slower pace climbing the steps. Veronica was calm, professional and caring when I needed extra time before climbing the last few steps and ensured that I was feeling okay before continuing with providing the remainder of the tour information at the top. Giacomo was fantastic and had amazing knowledge of not only the Medici family, but also of art and other aspects of Florence and Renaissance history. He made several excellent recommendations for further excursions off the usual tourist lists and freely gave us some additional time when he saw our interest. He delivered all with a true passion and is a credit to his craft as a tour guide.
