Verona: Digital Guide made by a Local (self guided tour)

3. Verona: Digital Guide made by a Local (self guided tour)

The main attractions, the most important monuments, the curiosities, the legends, the places frequented by the locals, the best restaurants, the typical dishes, and the anecdotes of people who have always lived in the city. These are the elements I would like to find in a tour when I travel and that is exactly what you will find inside this digital tour! What will you need for this tour: - Smartphone - Internet connection - Some energy! You will walk about 4,5 km but it is feasible regardless of athletic training (so the tour must be done moving through the streets of Verona and not just by phone). You can start the tour at any time: once purchased you will receive an email (in around 10 minutes) with the link to access the tour. Once purchased, the tour can be used for the duration of the booked day + 2 extra days. During the tour, you can freely enter the monuments (entrance fees are not included) and spend as much time as you like on the various visits! Unlike standard tours where you have to run after a guide, the beauty of this experience is that you can decide whether to relax, read historical insights, or spend more time on food or views! The experience is totally in your hands!

What people are saying about Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore

Overall rating

Bought the 24h card, since we would only be in Verona for 24h. Very easy pick-up at the IAT Verona Tourist Information Office (next to the Arena) following the instructions received via e-mail. The people at the pick-up counter had good English and were very knowledgeable. The card was very helpful, considering everything we visited in Verona, the price of the card is very good. The fact that I could pay for the card in my national currency at a good rate instead of EUR was also very nice. The Verona Arena is closed for renovation until March 2024 I believe, perhaps it would be a good idea to modify the name of the activity since it would false to say you are getting a Priority Entrance to the Arena as well. Overall, very happy with the experience! I recommend it!

Great! A well mapped out and thorough tour of all the sights in Verona. Easy to follow and historically informative. Unfortunately the timings listed for the amphitheater weren’t accurate so we weren’t able to go inside.

I loved the experience of getting to know the city without worrying about paying for tickets and transport tickets. Only with Veronacard, everything was included. Too bad the Arena was closed.

Incredible city full of history and culture Good food with restaurants at good prices and very cozy The city is very clean and everyone was very attentive to me

An Incredible experience, I 100% recommend getting the Verona Card.
