What people are saying about Bari

Juanita was very solicitous of my wishes and in addition to already having a handout of her recipes stopped to write down answers to specific questions. Juanita not only is an expert at pasta and tiramisu but a connoisseur of all traditional Italian foods. Since I was her only student yesterday and she had the day free, I convinced Juanita to join me at a local non-touristy restaurant she recommended. The food and service was excellent and as she tasted each appetizer, she was able to tell what spices and ingredients the chef used. Afterward we returned to her flat to have her tiramisu for dessert Juanita was fun, educational and a superior hostess. I highly recommend you request her if at all possible.

Wow, what an amazing experience in Puglia! Anna treated us with classic southern Italian hospitality and a delicious meal in her home. She is very knowledgeable, kind and talented! Being in her home was a great pleasure and I would highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting Bari. We also brought our 7 month old who also enjoyed watching Anna teach us how to make pasta, and of course eating it. Thank you so much for a fantastic day, Anna!
