Enjoy a private, full-day tour from Barcelona to the Spanish wine region of Priorat. Visit 2 Priorat wineries for tours and wine tastings. Be treated to a 3-course tasting lunch, and visit stunning 12th-century ruins at the Monastery of Scala Dei.
What to Expect
Enjoy a private, full-day wine tour from Barcelona to one of the most interesting wine regions of Catalonia: the Priorat. After a century of silence, these quiet, hidden villages have become favored sites for those with a keen interest in wine.
Although the Priorat wines have been produced for centuries, it is only in recent decades that the wineries of this region have taken a quantitative leap in quality that now puts them on the forefront of Spanish wines.
Visit two traditional and renowned wineries, and enjoy private tastings led by oenologists from the house. On arrival, the in-house expert will be there to greet you and give you a private tour of their finest vineyards and cellar, after which you will enjoy a personalized tasting of their top vintages. Afterward, enjoy a delicious tasting lunch paired with some of your favorite Priorat wines you have tasted.
End your day with a visit to the ruins of the Monastery of Scala Dei, one of the most beautifully located wineries in the Iberian Peninsula, and enjoy an informal olive oil tasting in a olive oil shop.

Know Before You Go
Please note: Price is per person and depends on the number of people in the group. Discounts apply for larger groups.
Wineries visited will depend on availability and your personal preferences. Once the date is chosen, we will confirm wineries and restaurant. You can suggest any winery you may want to visit, and we will try to accommodate your suggestions.
Sundays are not the best days for visiting wineries since a lot of them are closed. Some wineries are also closed on Saturdays. However, we can still arrange excursions on those days with a more limited winery selection.
Although this is a private tour, we do not guarantee that the winery visit will be just for your group unless specifically requested. Please let us know if you prefer to have a private tour and tasting.
Usually you will taste two wines on each winery; more extensive tastings can be included.
