Full description

Enjoy a day full of nature and culture in three different countries on this full-day trip from Barcelona to Andorra and France. Visit Ax-les-Thermes, Pas de la Casa, and Andorra la Vella, and enjoy a combination of guided visits and free time to explore at your own pace.

Depart from Barcelona on a comfortable air-conditioned bus. Then, arrive at Ax-les-Thermes, a small town in the French Pyrenees known for its ski resorts and hot springs. You will have some free time to explore the town at your own pace and taste its traditional cheeses and bread.

Later, you will head to the border crossing Pas de la Casa, where you will see the highest port in the Pyrenees and the Grandala winter sports station. Have the opportunity to step into another country and take magnificent pictures from a unique viewpoint.

Then, continue to Andorra la Vella. Upon arrival in the capital, your guide will show you Casa de la Vall, the Sant Esteve Church, and Dali's watch, among many other landmarks. Enjoy free time on Meritxell's Avenue for food or shopping before returning to Barcelona.

The guide will be waiting for you at the "Estación de Francia" with an Amigo Tours sign. You can get there on metro line L4 to the "Barceloneta" station, once there take the exit to "Plaça Pau Vila". You can also arrive on bus line 47. The meeting point is at the main entrance of the station.

The guides were the best part of the trip. They were very knowledgeable and engaging. The bus would be better if they had back seat pockets. More importantly, the driver drove somewhat recklessly, too fast, especially around curves. I did not feel safe. Lastly, due to traffic, we arrived at our destination later than than planned. Rather than cutting our time short I think we should have been asked if we wanted to leave later or cut our time short. Personally, I did not have enough time.

Dani(Guia) y Maria(Chofer) fueron excelentes. Muy puntuales y complacientes. Nos recomendaron unos restaurants deliciosos en Andorra.La unica sugerencia que doy es que eligan otros restaurants que sirvan la comida mas rapido, una hora almorzando es mucho tiempo que se pierde, que se puede aprovechar para ver un poco mas la ciudad. Del resto todo maravilloso.
