What People Are Saying About Bangkok
Breathing exhaust and being in traffic is Bangkok, so what better place to do it than in a tuk tuk. People riding in luxury buses miss all the street level action seeing the vendors and colorful characters up close and personal. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. At least the tuk tuk got a breeze as it sliced through traffic. The small group tour waste best way to see the city.
Be prepared to sweat and inhale fumes the whole time. But, regardless, this was an excellent way to see the city. Tuk tuks move quickly where tour buses cannot and the personalized guide service was spot on! At least there were breezes and you felt like you really were experiencing the city.
The tour was great, informative and the food presented was delicious. Our guide's knowledge of English was good and she presented a lot of noteworthy details along the tour. The small group of six people was nice and easy to keep up with. The tour itself was not too exhausting, partly also because it lastet only for three and a half hours instead of five (as described). The tour stopped in Chinatown without visiting the night market or the flower market, which was disappointing. Taking that into account, the tour was overprized.
Loved everything, but thought the paddle boat should have been included in the tour price as it is a major part of the attraction.
We enjoyed this tour very much and, upon our return to Bangkok, it made us notice how that city was served by the Canals and waterways of the past.
