Discover Thailand's traditional and authentic way of selling goods between boats, a Floating Market, on this half-day tour from Bangkok. Explore the bustling activity on the water, and enjoy stops at local workshops to see artisans at work.
What to Expect
Start your day early in the morning as you meet your private tour guide at your hotel's lobby.
Departing from Bangkok, your journey begins with a leisurely drive by picturesque rice paddies and salt fields.
After arriving at the pier, you will board the long-tailed boat through the many canals that eventually take you to the floating market. This remarkable and unique place hosts many boats, each with different shapes and sizes, each selling a fascinating variety of merchandise. Take in this impressive market in the middle of the water, and perhaps pick up a souvenir to bring back with you.
Leaving the floating market, we will enjoy the chance to take part in elephant treking. Visit these amazing animals at the elephant village and take a walk through the surrounding nature.
After this relaxed morning, we will depart for Bangkok, visiting a woodcarving factory on the way to see the intricate and beautiful work of these artisans.
At approximately 14:00 we will arrive back at your hotel in Bangkok, where the tour will end.
