What to Expect
Begin your full-day excursion with an early-morning pick-up at your central Bangkok hotel and head west on the drive to Kanchanaburi.
Tour the Thailand–Burma Railway Center, an interactive museum, information center, and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway. The fully air–conditioned venue offers visitors both an educational and a moving experience.
Visit the Allied War Cemetery, a memorial to some 6,000 allied prisoners of war who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place.
Take a scenic long–tailed boat trip along Mae Klong River to the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs.
Stop for a lunch break at local restaurant before taking a ride on the Death Railway, passing over the original wooden bridge.
At the end of the tour you’ll be transferred back to your central Bangkok hotel.
