Discover the traditions of Thailand on a half-day tour to Bangkok’s Rose Garden and Thai Culture Village. Explore the world of folk dancing, sword fights and traditional wedding ceremonies from across Thailand.
What to Expect
This half-day tour takes you on a journey through the traditions of Thailand, with demonstrations of dancing, sword fights, ordination into the monkhood and much more.
You will be picked up from your Bangkok hotel by your private guide and taken by air-conditioned vehicle to the Rose Garden on the outskirts of the city.
Experience an authentic Thai way of life and learn about the local wisdom. For decades it has been considered one of Bangkok’s favorite attractions, as it preserves Thailand’s cultural heritage and engages with the local community.
Opened in 1962, when one family were cultivating roses to supply to Bangkok’s flower markets, the blossoming roses attracted visitors who referred to it as ‘Suan Sampran’ or ‘the Rose Garden’. Since then, it has grown into a 70-acre riverside property that is more like a community than a typical resort.
The show will commence in a classic air-conditioned theatre, and features traditional Thai music as well as highlights of the Thai way of life. This is followed by a brief elephant demonstration outside the theatre.
At the end of this exhilarating adventure you will be transferred back to Bangkok for a hotel drop-off.
