Explore Bangkok’s vibrant Chinatown, before crossing the Chao Phraya River to visit some of the city's most beautiful temples and hidden secrets in this half-day cycle tour.
What to Expect
Make the most of your time in Bangkok with a memorable half-day cycle tour of Bangkok's unique and diverse treasures.
We begin by joining in the morning rush of Chinatown, where we will explore a spirited street-market. Chinatown holds the highest number of gold shops in Bangkok as well as a wealth of food stalls and markets. We will explore the area before moving on to find calmer surroundings.
Crossing the mighty Chao Phraya River, life changes to a slower pace. Our trail bends gently through the back roads of the Thonburi district.
We will take you off the beaten-track where you will see lesser-known temples and sites, including the Princess Mother Memorial Park with its magnetizing ambiance and attractions.
Back on the trail, we will cycle to one of Bangkok’s favorite sites, the Temple of the Dawn. This architecturally impressive structure features five towering spires, known in Thai as prangs, adorned by broken pieces of Chinese porcelain.
From here we will change transport by boarding a boat that will take us to the Royal Barge Museum. The museum is renowned for its display of gold-plated royal barges that are up to 46 meters long.
This is a gentle 9 mile (15 km) ride that is suitable for any level and is an excellent trip for families.
