  • Colors Of Bangkok: 4-Hour Small Group Bike Tour

    1. Colors Of Bangkok: 4-Hour Small Group Bike Tour

Experience Bangkok more like a local on a half-day bike tour of some of the Thai capital’s small communities. Cycle down narrow, traffic-free streets to see how the locals live their daily lives. Following a quick bike fitting at the meeting point, cycle past villas and luxury apartments en route to a hidden community in what some might regard as a “slum,” but locals call “home.” Meet some of the city’s poorest residents, walking to their kindergarten to see where their children are taught. Next, go to a neighborhood sweatshop en route to boarding a typical long tail boat to cross the Chao Phraya River. Once across the river, explore Bangkok’s greenest area. Ride the elevated pathways that run through lush vegetation and the shade of coconut palms and banana trees. Stop at a local restaurant for a light meal of pad thai (thai noodles) or khao pad (fried rice). Then, ...

Super relaxing, everything is well organized- you just just need to enjoy the ride and the beautiful colours of Bangkok. Guide was very knowledgeable and polite. Plenty of water throughout the tour for free and many things to see I've never seen in my +25 years I'm visiting Bangkok. I will book it again.

  • Bangkok: Khlong Toei Market & Bang Krachao Island Bike Tour

    2. Bangkok: Khlong Toei Market & Bang Krachao Island Bike Tour

Make your first stop of the day at Khlong Toei Market, Bangkok’s largest fresh market. Watch the vendors sell their produce to the busy locals and stroll around the stalls, taking in the sights, smells, and sounds. From there, hop on an iconic tuk-tuk and head to the pier. Board a ferry that’ll take you across the Chao Phraya River. Cycle to Bang Krachao, also called ‘Bangkok Jungle’ or Bangkok’s ‘Green Lung’. Discover one of the rare places in Bangkok where you’ll find yourself immersed in greenery and trees. Spend your time exploring this artificial oasis, passing through banana trees, coconut plantations, and local houses. Stop at a public park and feed the fish, before making your way to a Muay Thai school to observe students practicing the beloved Thai sport. Afterward, visit a local Buddhist temple and stop at a neighborhood Thai restaurant for lunch before taking the ferry back ...

It was awesome! My girlfriend and I booked the excursion and then had a private tour as we were the only ones! We got there by taxi for about 100 baht (13km). Our guide (Ohm) was super friendly, helpful, patient and told us a lot about Bangkok and Thailand! With the bike through small winding streets, with the longtail boat over the river to the neighboring island (awesome!) And learn a lot about the country, nature, the old temples there and the history of Thailand. There were enough free drinks and lunch (vegetarian) was delicious. In the beginning it rained ... in my opinion it only made the tour even better! After we had explored the 16km2 island (approx. 4 hours), we drove back. Definitely an experience that you should have done! We would definitely go with the guide again, but then take another tour to experience even more!

An entirely good experience even though the heat was harsh on us. Remember sunscreen, a sun hat and sunglasses. The trip takes place at a pace so that everyone can follow. Several stops along the way, including with a really good meal, several stops where we drank water and took short breaks. Super guide Ohm and his helper Nail led us through the trip which is about 23 km. We took the trip from kl. 13-17.

Well organized tour, it was very interesting to get to know Bangkok from this side. It was good that we booked the 8:00 am tour.

it was great fun to experience bangkok in a different way. and with "joni" we had a great tour guide

It was really nice. The tour was well put together and our guide was more than eager :-)
