Once night falls and you have seen the colors of the sunset, experience one of the island's most famous cultural performances at a "kecak" fire dance. Watch the locals act out a scene from the Ramayana with a mesmerizing trance chant, punctuated by exciting fire dances by performers in intricate costumes. The tour was really great. Of course, the Uluwatu Temple is one of the most attractive sights in Bali and therefore very well visited. Our guide Giri did a great job. Already on the way he told us many interesting things. On site, too, Giri told us everything important and pointed out important behavior that we should observe towards the monkeys. Since Giri had already booked the tickets online in advance, we were able to explore everything in peace and without queuing. The Kecak dance is worth seeing. At the beginning it took a lot of getting used to, but the interactive exchange with the audience made the dance come alive. Then we went to a restaurant where you can pick out the fish freshly. It couldn't be fresher and very tasty. We especially enjoyed the night view of the sea. The tour and our guide Giri are highly recommended.

We had a good time on this excursion, during which we saw and did a lot in just 6 hours. Our driver Fery was great, he arrived perfectly on time and had cold water waiting for us in the car. He also helped us capture lots of great photos and videos of our evening, and even drove one member of our group home when she didn’t feel well in the middle of the trip. The sunset is gorgeous from the temple. I deducted one star because the Kecak theater was packed to the brim, it felt like they sold too many tickets and people sat entirely blocking the walkways, which felt unsafe given that the performance involved fire. I wouldn’t recommend attending the performance if you are claustrophobic, but seeing the temple and having dinner at the beach were very nice experiences. Thanks for the great time and friendly hospitality, Fery!
