What to Expect
Get a taste of scuba diving on a full-day introductory course in Bali. Dive in Tulamben Bay and see the world-famous USAT Liberty shipwreck.
After meeting at your hotel in South Bali transfer to Tulamben, a ride of approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arriving, your divemaster/instructor will provide an on-shore briefing and practical skills demonstration before you enter the water. You will then experience 2 dives to a maximum of 40 feet (12 meters), with your dive guide next to you.
Visit the site of the shipwreck, take in the underwater coral gardens, and admire the black sand slope. You will see fist-sized black volcanic rocks, creating a dramatic contrast with the vibrant colors of marine life that will surround you. If you are lucky, you may see ocean sunfish, whale sharks, tuna, and more.
When you are done diving, enjoy lunch before transferring back to your hotel.

Know Before You Go
No certification is required for trying diving.
You will be required to fill out a medical form.
You must be able to swim.
