This tour was amazing! We were accompanied by Andres and David, who told us a lot of interesting and cool facts about the lagoon of Bacalar. We had two stops to enjoy swimming in the lagoon, with lot of free time, which was great. I would recommend going for the tour a 8am as there’s less people going in for that hour! We ended up being just 2 in the boat, it was like a private tour and we really enjoyed it. Plus yummy fresh juice and yummy fruits, what more could we have asked for!

I highly recommend this tour! Calakmul is impressive and a great place to visit. The Ruins in the jungle are absolutely stunning and we got to see animals like howler monkeys, spider monkeys and turkeys at the same time. Gerardo was also a very knowledgable, nice and perfectly organised guide. He explained a lot about the history of Calakmul, Maya culture and local biodiversity and always let us take our time to explore the surroundings.

The activity was INCREDIBLE! We saw many great things and Augustin was a really good guide, we had various explanations, had the privilege to swim in the beautiful blue sky lagoon water and had a fresh snack of watermelon and mango. A big thanks to Augustin and his wife Brenda who made this experience unique. I 10000% recommend!

What an amazing day on the lagoon! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts, they truly made the trip. Also their special addition for our friends birthday was perfect, an amazing day had by all, even with the showers of rain.
