Here you have the choice of an interpretive tour to the Devils Pools learning about the cultural history, wildlife, flora and fauna, or a dip in the pristine waters in the swimming area. Traveling further south, we pass acres of sugarcane and banana farms surrounded by the tropical backdrop of dense rainforest mountain ranges. A scenic drive takes us through the art deco township of Innisfail and the Mourilyan Harbor before arriving at Etty Bay. Stopping for afternoon tea to take in the surrounding beauty of the Cassowary Coast you may take a beach walk, wet your feet and keep your eyes peeled for the opportunity to see the striking Southern Cassowary. Arriving mid-afternoon, be welcomed by a friendly guide at Paronella Park. Learn the extraordinary story of Jose Paronella as you explore the upper level. You then have your own time to explore the 13 acres of lush tropical landscaped gardens, the Spanish Castle and waterfalls or feed the turtles and fish.
