The tour then leads to Ecofinca Ventana Verde, a model of sustainable farming, where you’ll savor organic local produce and gain insight into eco-friendly agricultural practices. Finally, unwind at the natural pools of El Puertillo, where you can relax in volcanic rock pools and soak up the breathtaking ocean views, the perfect finale to a day of exploration and discovery. I will show you all the secrets about medicinal plants: from harvesting them in their natural environment to the different applications and uses, so that you can create your personal pharmacy. You will live the life of the green witch for a day, walking to the magical Azuaje valley, far from the noise of the city, connected with the powerful energy of Mother Nature. This place has a very long history of Curanderos, the local healers, and represents the last corner of the Island that still preserves its original vegetation. It is a very special healing place, for me and for the entire Island. After having experienced the preparation together, we will enjoy a comforting infusion created with the collected plants, celebrating our work on the terrace that offers charming views of the valley! From this experience you will take away: a preparation based on medicinal plants, made with your own hands; the knowledge to prepare your own natural medicine kit and a powerful connection with the natural magic of herbs. After the presentation, we will choose the bike that best suits us and we will warm up a little on the flat to test our bikes. We will visit the Valleseco Lagoon, a beautiful place where we can enjoy the landscape and learn more about the route that awaits us. It is an easy route with some more technical parts (which you can always do on foot if you don’t feel capable) of 10 km long and 400 meters of descent and 80 meters of ascent on normal mountain bikes. We will enjoy tracks where we can go at our own pace, enjoying the landscape and the terrain with the bikes. Optionally we can walk into a cave with flashlights to appreciate the laborious work for its creation. Then we will reach the highest mountains of the Barranco de Azuaje, from here we begin to descend along trails changing the forest of pines, laurisilva and eucalyptus until we reach Firgas, the Pueblo del Agua, where we will visit it with a local guide to learn more about the canarian culture.
