Explore the valley of Alpilles famous for its olive tree fields and vineyards, driving through dramatic limestone canyon to reach the medieval hilltop village of Les Baux de Provence built on a rocky spur. Have free time at leisure to admire the 10th century fortress and walk around the village. Have a photo stop on the Plateau des Antiques in Saint-Rémy de Provence to admire the triumphal arch and Mausoleum built near the archaeological site of Glanum and Saint Paul de Mausolee asileum where Van Gogh used to stay.
Drive to the national park of Luberon and the famous hilltop village of Gordes considered as one of the most beautiful of France and listed by UNESCO since 1977. Photo stop to enjoy the panoramic view and free time at leisure in the village to see the church and cobble streets.
Last stop in Roussillon, the ocher village, a colorful place which wan an ancient open air ocher mine until the end of the 18th century. Walk along the Ocher path during 30mn or enjoy a lavender ice cream in the village.
