What to Expect
Enjoy a full day touring the Roman monuments and lovely villages of Provence, and taste some of the finest wines produced in France.
Visit Rhône Valley vineyards and taste wines at 2 different Chateauneuf du Pape wineries.
You'll have a tour of the vineyards, and a stop at a castle built in the 14th century as a summer residence for the popes. Your driver/guide will tell you more about the region, its grape varieties, and how the wines are aged. Enjoy the views of the village and the valley from the top of the hill.
At the first winery, you'll visit the cellar to see the oak barrels used in the aging process. At the second winery, you'll taste their wines and learn about the grape varieties used to make them. You’ll have a chance to taste a white, rosé, a red wine during the tour.
Your friendly guide will take you to the Pont du Gard, the most spectacular part of the former Roman aqueduct built to supply the ancient city of Nimes with water.
Discover the picturesque medieval village of Les Baux de Provence, located in the southern valley of the Alpilles Mountains and surrounded by thousands of olive trees. After a scenic drive you’ll arrive in the Luberon, and stop at Gordes, which ranks among the most beautiful villages in France.
Enjoy some free time to explore this village that was built entirely with dry stones from the mountain.
