It's really hard even writing this review. I knew about the events that took place here before going but I had no idea of the actual scale of the place. I would recommend 2 days as birkenau is a massive site. It is worth the visit but be prepared as its extremely hard to visit. I'm a relatively big guy and even I cried walking round at the horrors that took place here.

Always wanted to visit Krakow and do the Camp tours. I was advised to visit in winter to get the true reflection of the very harsh conditions peopled suffered. The saddest place I have ever visited but it is a must to see and hear of the cruelly man can use against other mankind . A warning to all about the evil of war.

Thousand Miles made the journey there and back as comfortable and quick as it could be and this is important considering the emotions and feelings that a visit to such a place can bring.
