Glide along Devonport's charming waterfront and admire the beautiful Victorian architecture on this Segway tour in Auckland. Enjoy the great view of Rangitoto, the newest volcanic cone, as you have a "Blast in the Park" on your Segway at Cheltenham Beach.
What to Expect
Meet your guide at Magic Broomstick Tours Shop 9, halfway through the Devonport Ferry Terminal, to start your exciting day of waterfront exploring aboard a Segway. After completing the necessary paperwork, your guide will lead you through a quick information and training session to make sure you feel safe and comfortable while riding on your Segway.
Time to begin your ride around Devonport's charming waterfront! Glide past the city’s beautifully restored Victorian Villas and historic buildings, like the Masonic Tavern, built in 1866. From there, pass by the military fort on North Head (or Maungauika, the Mountain of Uika in Māori) on the way to Cheltenham Beach.
Once there take in the fantastic view of Rangitoto, Auckland's youngest volcanic cone, erupting from under the ocean only 650 years ago. An exciting ride through the charming and narrow back streets of Devonport completes your Segway experience.
