What People Are Saying About Atlanta
This tour was SO much fun! PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS! I never rode a segway previous to this experience. Before the tour began, we watched a brief instructional video about the segways. Following the video, the guide demonstrated how to utilize the segway properly and he gave us personalized, one-on-one instruction. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and he was able to show us all of downtown Atlanta as well as the more cultural based areas (which I loved!). We even stopped at a few neighborhood gems that I never would have found on my own. I HIGHLY recommend this tour! My trip would not have been complete without it! :)
We had a great time doing the Atlanta Adventure Quest. The instructions were clear, everything worked exactly as they said it would, and the questions were appropriately challenging, but not too hard. It gave interesting history as you went from place to place and was great fun! Everyone in our group had a great time, got a bit of exercise, learned more about Atlanta (even though we've lived here for years, it gave new insight and took us to places we'd never been!). Well worth the time whether you have lived in Atlanta for 20 years or are only here for 2 days! I would encourage everyone to allow the whole afternoon so you have plenty of time to stop and really thoroughly go through all of the places you'll go! OH, THE PLACES YOU'LL GO!!! We'll be doing this in other cities! Thanks Urban Quest!!
This short tour around Atlanta is excellent. The driver/guide was informative and was an enthusiastic "one man chamber of commerce member of Atlanta." The price was right and I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to start with this tour to see the Atlanta high points.
Doug, our Guide, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the highlights of our tour. I plan to take another on my next visit.
There were five of us which was a great number. I felt like we did not see as much as we should have. Felt like 5 minutes learning to go faster was just a chance for our guide to sit down. We probably only spent 30-40 minutes of actual touring. We did the 90 minute tour.
