We did thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Cape Sounion. A place worth visiting and the addition of the Sunset makes it all worth it. Be prepared to pay additionally for the entry tickets as these are not included due to different T&C applied. There is a restaurant there to but we did not used it. On return to Athens we followed the coastline but as was already dark, we could not see much which was ashame.

I almost liked the extra activity on the way with a visit to the oldest theater in Athens more than the Cape Sounion part itself, which disappointed me. Even so, the temple at the top is beautiful, but so many people take away its charm and the sunset was not one of the best for us. The super nice guide, fantastic.

Truely a magical experience to watch the sunset here. The temple and surrounding scenery is beautiful. The ride back to town is all along the coast and adds to experience. If you plan on eating … grab a table first while your partner grabs a ticket to the temple…. Service is fast but time goes fast. Our guide was awesome and told us really cool myths to make the time go easily. She was so great that she walked with us to the metro and told us how to get back to our hotel! Above and beyond!
