This tour is very convenient if you want visit more historical places in one day - or simply if you find it hard to get to them by public buses. The first little stop at Corinth canal was nice addition. In Mykines I think we had enough time for everything, it's really beautiful place. The walk around Nafplio was very pleasant. Theo, the guide, took us to a great place to grab a gyros in the end. Epidavros was stunning, I only wish we could have there two hours instead of one - that was the only little minus of this tour :) The group was very small, we made it in a little van, so it was excellent for me.

The driver was excellent, our fellow travelers fantastic and the trip was enjoyable. I had expected a guided tour to the sites, which it wasn't the case and that was a disappointment. And also I hadn't realised how little time the trip allowed for Nafplio. Being a non-guided tour, I would've personally preferred less time in Mycenae and more in Nafplio.

Bill was a wonderful guide, not only knowledgable but very friendly and easy to get along with on a personal level. He couldn't come in the sites with us, but he made sure to tell us a lot about what we would see beforehand, and answered any questions we had after the visits. It was rainy/stormy for most of the day but we still had a great time. If I ever come back to Greece I'll be sure to book an excursion with Ammon Express again!
