As a solo traveler this was the most easy, safe, comfortable & informative tour I’ve had. Upon researching this was the one that gave me precise details of how to get where & what to expect. The subway & train is easy to navigate. Much faster then driving from Athens. I wanted first class in the train but no seats. Didn’t matter coz found out the train was clean&seats properly numbered, people also just fine. There were a few child beggars going up & down the aisles but the conductor sent them away. 4 hours went by fast w/lovely scenery to look at outside. The tour guide was waiting as promised & was easy to find. He was a big Greek guy, very funny, friendly w/lots of info. We first stopped for a quick breakfast. Meteora is absolute breathtaking. The landscape is like none in the world. It’s one of the places to see before you die! The monasteries are incredible. How they were made on top of cliffs is mind boggling. Weather in end oct was beautiful. I would love to visit again.

Meteora ROCKS.  I found the company name to to be an appropriate play on words.  If you ever have the privilege to visit Meteora; I would highly recommend this tour company.  Our guide Dinos was exceptional; his vast historical knowledge, gifted intellectual capacity and ability to relay this knowledge in an entertaining format was refreshing.  Meteora is a very spiritually uplifting location with an incredible history and "Meteora Rocks" is a tour company worthy of presenting the story.  Thank you for a memorable experience

It is a totally worthwhile tour. The trip is long, it is 4 hours by train from Athens (and around the same), but again, it is worth it. The place is exceptional. The guide was very kind, but he does not enter the monasteries with you, but he explains to you while he takes you and then you have free time to tour them. The monasteries and landscapes are impressive. Each monastery you must pay, it is not included (3 euros approx each). Free time to explore them is not abundant but enough.
