Your visit will cover the main buildings on the Acropolis, including the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Propylaia, and the Parthenon. Your guide will spend considerable time talking about the role of religion in Athenian culture and will cover the sweep of ancient Greek history.
During the walk you’ll also visit the stunning new Acropolis Museum, designed by Bernard Tschumi and opened in 2009.

We meet at the entrance of the New Acropolis Museum, located at 15 Dionysiou Areopagitou Street in the southern shadow of the Acropolis. Our specific meeting point is in front of the statue of the owl (symbol of Athena) located just outside the entrance to the museum. (Open in Google Maps)
