Delphi and Meteora: 2-Day Bus Tour from Athens

INCREDIBLE activity, must do if you have the chance from Athens! We ended our honeymoon with this activity and it was wondrous to explore the monasteries in Meteora. The drive up to see the monasteries was incredible because that is where you can fully appreciate the monasteries sitting on top of the stone formations. We had two different guides for our trip. Our guide to Delphi, PhiPhi was full of attitude and less enthusiastic. Our second guide to Meteora, George was fantastic. The four star hotel, Hotel Amalia, was one of the highlights. Remember to bring your swimsuits, but if you forget, there is a gift shop in the hotel that sells affordable swimsuits, and that are super cute. There was a breakfast and dinner buffet in the hotel, and those were incredible! The dinner felt like a combination between a gourmet chef, cooking all of Yia Yia’s (Greek Grandma) favourite dishes, it was a dance for my taste buds with everything from fish, beef, pork, chicken. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed this tour. The entire process was smooth. The hotel for the overnight part was pretty good, average no-frills hotel. The hotel provides dinner and breakfast. A little rushed at Delphi but still adequate (not a big place). The monasteries were cool. Our guide Jordan (I think) was very well-informed and spoke very good English. Recommend this tour

Excellent guide & driver, pick ups and transfers well handled. Both days were very interesting. Expected a lot of coach time but its that or don't go so glad I did. Hotel was also great - Amalia hotel near Meteora. Ignore complainers as the trip was 100% as expected. Chat Tours appear to be a slick operation. If in doubt just do it.
