2. Cairo: 3-Day River Nile Cruise with Hot Air Balloon

Day 1 At 5.00 PM you will be picked up from your accommodation and driven to Cairo train station, where you will board an overnight train to Luxor.  Day 2 Upon arrival in Luxor in the early morning, a representative will greet you and take you to a cafe to try some local tea. You’ll then enjoy a hot air balloon ride to watch the sun come up over the archaeological sites of Luxor. Next, head to the west bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings. Here you will explore the 3 most important tombs and see the walls full of hieroglyphs.  Your guide will then take you to the most important temple of the complex, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. The temple consists of three floors with open balconies built of limestone, with statues of the god Osiris and Queen Hatshepsut. You’ll then head to the east bank to visit the biggest temple in Luxor, the Karnak Temple, dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Learn about the history of the temple before heading to your river boat for lunch.  You’ll check into your room and then the boat will depart for Edfu. In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner and free time in the comfortable surroundings of the boat.  Day 3 After breakfast on board, take a horse-drawn carriage to Edfu. You’ll then enjoy a guided visit of the Temple of Horus. Marvel at the best-preserved religious place in Egypt with imposing sandstone structures of Horus.  You’ll enjoy lunch back on board the boat as you sail to your next destination. In the afternoon, visit the unusual Temple of Kom Ombo. Learn about the structures of the temple and how it was built in honor of two great gods. Return to the boat for dinner and free time.  Day 4 In the early morning you’ll head to one of the most stunning temple complexes in Egypt, the Abu Simbel Temples. The twin temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari were built into the mountainside in the 13th century BC, under the dynasty of Pharaoh Ramesses II. Your guide will take you back to the cruise to check out and take your luggage. You’ll then be transferred to Aswan station to travel back to Cairo by train.

Admire the second-largest ancient Egyptian temple with the convenience of hotel pickup, round-trip train tickets, and a professional guide. The day starts with pickup from your hotel in Luxor. The local representative will give you your round-trip ticket and assist you in catching your train to Edfu. A professional guide will be waiting for you at Edfu station and will take you by car to visit the famous Edfu Temple. After pickup from your hotel in Marsa Alam (including Port Ghalib) at 5 AM, travel by air-conditioned car to Aswan. Take a nap after your early pickup during the 370-kilometer (230-mile), 4.5-hour journey to Aswan, where you'll arrive around 9:30 AM. Then, make your way first to the Aswan High Dam, a rock-fill dam located at the northern border between Egypt and Sudan. Admire a structure considered to be the fourth pyramid of Egypt, which is fed by the River Nile. See where the reservoir forms Lake Nasser, hear about the dam's construction, then proceed to the “unfinished obelisk,” the largest known ancient obelisk. At 12 PM, continue your Aswan tour by visiting the marvelous Temple of Philae, one of Nubia's most important monuments. This large temple complex was an ancient pilgrimage center for the cult of Isis and was venerated from the Pharaonic era up to the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods with each ruler adding their own stamp onto the stones here. Learn more about the love story between Isis and Osiris, and find out how the Temple of Philae was saved from a watery grave by UNESCO's rescue project, which transferred the monuments block by block from Philae Island to Agilika Island. Once the temples have worked their charms on you, tuck into a tasty lunch at a quality restaurant in Aswan at 4 PM. After lunch, begin your journey back to Marsa Alam. The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel in Marsa Alam.

Amazing tour must Do! What can I say, we did a wonderful Nile Cruise with Ocean air Tours , we have to say that the company made a marvelous tour also wonderful Experience , it was a great service at the boat we enjoy it so much. thanks so much for this wonderful service Our OceanAir guide was very friendly and kind. Amazing experience from the beginning to the end. Amazing boat with good food, great staff, nice sundeck and spacious room with a great view. The experience was greatly enhanced by our amazing guide Ahmed. His english was very good, making it very easy to understand and enjoy the temples, tombs and their stories. He even bought us breakfast when we accidentally woke up late and missed breakfast. We highly recommend him if anyone is looking for a guide.

I liked everything, the cabin on the ship is excellent, the food is excellent. True, at first they forgot to put a cot in our cabin, but then they quickly organized it. We liked our guide Ahmed too. The excursions were very interesting and the organization of everything is also excellent. Thank you.
