See in the distance the Painted Desert and the Desert View Watchtower, designed by the Hopi Native Americans. Your journey then follows the Colorado River upstream to where it merges with the Little Colorado River, back over the Kaibab National Forest, and on to Tusayan. Dear team, it was terrific. We received a warm welcome and everything was explained well. The flight itself went by far too quickly. I would only have thought that you would fly even deeper into the canyon. But I'm just an amateur and can't judge it that way. I only assumed it from the descriptions on the Internet. Despite the high sum, I would recommend this experience to everyone, which I already have because currently 5 friends of mine want to visit the Gran Canyon. Sincerely, Daniela Klein

an absolutely amazing experience. Our pilot (think it was Mike) put us at ease straightaway. went through the safety briefing smoothly and showed us how to put the seat harness, headphones and life belt on correctly. it was a fairly windy morning but we only felt a few bumps - nothing to worry about. He pointed out points of interest and we had the whole flight to take photos/videos. Our photos were taken before boarding but there was no pressure sell at the end to buy. we would absolutely recommend Maverick Helicopters. Loved the whole experience.

We went on this excursion with our elderly father because we felt it would be a good way for him to really see the Grand Canyon since he can't walk long distances. It did not disappoint. Spectacular views and the 45 minute ride was plenty long enough to get a great look at the canyon. It's a bit pricey but highly recommend.
