Welcome to Tromsø, where you'll walk along the seaside and the main street with an audio guide telling you the story of the city and showing you the highlights. The tour will take about 30 minutes without stopping, but feel free to stop and inhale the arctic air in Tromsø. You will be walking along the seaside, where you'll experience a magnificent view of the Arctic Cathedral, and later find yourself at the Polar Museum, where you may learn about famous Polar researchers like Fritjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen. Later, you will walk along the main street, and take a stop at the main city square, before you continue to the Tromsø Cathedral and finally end the tour by the Hurtigruten port.

Set-off on an adventure into the total darkness of the Arctic fjords and Polar nights. Follow your expert guides as they place you in the position to view the spectacular Northern Lights. Depart Tromsø and set sail for the direction where the clearest weather conditions for the night have been predicted. Head north towards the areas of Kvaløyvågen, south to Ramfjorden, or west along the southern part of Kvaløya island. Relax as your captain and crew work together and keep their eyes out for clear skies or a gap in the cloud layer. While you wait for the northern lights to appear, you can stay warm and comfortable in the heated lounges. Grab a refreshing beverage from the cafe and a snack. Throughout the evening your guides will share their knowledge and personal stories of the Northern Lights - from mythical stories from around the world to the scientific explanation of the Northern Lights. Once you spot the Northern Lights you can put on your warm clothes and go outside to admire lady Aurora in the night sky. Some nights she shines bright in the sky and dances with different colours, while on other nights she's a bit shy and is only faintly visible or not visible at all. Your guides can help you take pictures with your camera during the tour. On the way back, you get a fantastic view of the Arctic city of Tromsø and it's skyline and the famous Arctic Cathedral visible from the water.
