Learned so much more with our private tour of Olympia!

Our guide, Steve (Stavros).who is an archeologist, was the perfect guide. He shared his extensive knowledge about the site; responded to each of our questions with additional information; and opened our eyes as to what Olympia offered at the time. So much more than we had understood it to be! Wonderful, engaging guide who demonstrated his understanding of the importance of Olympia far beyond being the site of the ancient Olympic games and its important role in the history of ancient Greece and Rome. Highly recommend hiring him for your own private tour. We all enjoyed the laurel wreath he provided my grandson as the winner of the 'race' at the ancient stadium. A great day!

Amazing artwork done by Scooterise. Definitely the best way to complete the visit with 3D views of what the site looked like 2’500 years ago. Really useful to make it real beyond our imagination. App download is easy (requires a 4G/WiFi connection), only the equipment compatible with smartphone has to be collected in Scooterise office in Athens. An alternative proposed by this tour operator is to ship the device (quite small) to an address outside of Athens (an hotel for instance). Can be an option for people who don’t pass through Athens during their trip. Customer service reactive and accurate. Heavily recommandable!

This tour gives you an amazing taste of Olympia! It is well worth the early start! Our guide that met us at the port, Alexandra, was so lovely and very funny. She recommended places to eat in Olympia and was there if we needed anything. Our tour guide for Olympia, Nikki, was also very nice! She always asked if we had any questions and taught us about the history of Olympia. All in all, was an amazing tour! Loved every minute!

There was a bus to Zakinthos town which took about 45 mins, then the boat trip was less than an hour, then the coach to the site was about 50 mins- so not too bad a journey and well worth it - I would have liked to know this in advance as we didn’t have a clue from the website! I think we should have had 20 mins longer in the museum it was a bit rushed and the outdoor site was obviously baking hot - take face water sprays

A very nice tour crisscrossing the Greek heartland. We covered and saw a lot in four days. Well conceived and planned - lots of driving but broken down into bearable stretches. Our guide Anthony was very informative. I would highly recommend using the hotel upgrade option. Our co-travelers who had not done so were not complimentary of the hotels used in the non- upgraded selections.
