To begin your wine tasting workshop, you’ll be welcomed at the reception of the chateau by your guide, who’ll lead you to where workshop takes place. The fun then begins with the presentation of a set of 6 aromas in small bottles, each to be sampled and remembered. Next, the first wine will be served, with each stage of the wine tasting explained. Your guide will then offer you a second wine very different from the first, explaining what this contrast can tell you about the wines. Following this intensive tasting course, you’ll then be ready for two blind wine tastings. Based on the color, smell, and taste of the wines, you’ll try to determine their vintage and appellation types.

    Enjoy some free time before departing to the Margaux vineyards in the Medoc region by minivan at 1.30 pm. Drive along the beautiful "Road of the Châteaux" and stop at 2 grand chateaus. Try wines at 2 different wineries to fully experience the wines of Bordeaux before heading back at 6:00 pm.
