Booking online was easy. I like that everything is right in one area.. i wish it had more to offer to entertain older kids for the price. I would suggest booking this and planing to do something else in the area so you don’t feel like it’s a wasted trip if coming from Santa Clara area. I thought the sea lion exhibit was another building to explore instead it was a one room space and the rest was looking at them in the ocean. Wasn’t too bad.

I have never been to an Aquarium before so I was most excited. My favorite was the little sting rays that you could touch and the octupus named Octavia, I only wish I could have seen her spread out, maby next time. My fiance and I spent 3 1/2 hrs there such an experience. We will be going back to take the kids. Cant wait. Absolutely loved it. Thank you Aquarium of the Bay.

    Great non-profit aquarium

Not many people would guess this is a non-profit aquarium but it is. It is on the smaller size but for me it was perfect. Took about an hour to go through. Lots to look at. The tunnel is stunning. The sea otters are cute. Make sure to get to the scheduled talk to see them in action. When you are done in the aquarium go the end of Pier 39 and watch the sea lions in their protected home for free. Then hit up Pier Market for a great meal!
