My evening with Antonietta and Gianni was fabulous. They made me feel like part of the family. They showed me the best types of products to buy at the market and we picked up some interesting local wines. We made a nice selection of vegetable dishes and pasta from scratch. Antonietta is a MASTER baker and you can feel her passion as she pats, rolls and kneads the dough. I cannot say that I will go home and make fresh pasta for my family/friends..but for sure fresh sauce and wonderful easy vegetable dishes. We all had alot of fun and will be sure to be back in their kitchen on my next visit. I highly recommend this experience because you truly are a part of the local community and the family. Thanks to you both for a wonderful evening and sharing your home with me!!
Nice tour with a nice guide! Unfortunately we had booked in German and received English. Not that bad for us but if you book for example as an older couple without knowledge of English - very annoying! We should also get a glass of wine, there was a sip on "demand" and the traditional ice cream was also missing :-(
We had a wonderful time. Giovanni was the most informative and congenial guide. He was prompt and we had no problem reaching him beforehand. I would recommend this tour because the sights were wonderful and Giovanni the best!
Giovanni and Alessandra did an excellent job !!! The Wine Tour was very good and the visit to Matera complete! We have also eaten very well! :)
