What People Are Saying About Appian Way
This is a fantastic tour. Very informative, stunning scenery, beautiful historic monuments and of course, the aqueducts. Our guide, Frederick was awesome; always looking out for our safety and making sure we were enjoying the tour to the max. He took our group photos and was helpful in many other ways. Great job! The e-assist bikes are great to help keep even the least experienced cyclist up with the rest of the group. Hills are no problem and they are a lot of fun as well. There is so much to see and none of it is rushed. Every minute is enjoyable. We were very lucky to have a brilliantly sunny day with temps around 12 degrees. Beautiful weather in December for a family from Canada. I have nothing but praise for this company. From the mechanics who got our bikes ready for us to the people in reception who welcomed us. Everything is top notch! Highly recommended.
The tour was excellent. Our guide was knowledgeable and picked great spots for photos and rests. Very well done and setup to accommodate groups of mixed bike experience.
Truly a great way to experience Rome and see some parts of the city that you wouldn't experience with any other tour. Easy to ride e-bikes makes it a breeze and and you get to see so much more in a shorter time than going by foot.
I was a bit hesitant about the electric assist bikes, but I fell in love with mine in the first five minutes. The bikes were amazing, the guide, Federico was very good. He was very knowledgable and interesting. The route was interesting and varied. It was a great way to see a little of Roman history, and so easy on those great bikes. I would recommend this to everyone. If you can ride a bike you can do it!
We had a beautiful day to bike in Rome. The guide was very good and knowledgable . It was amazing to see the Appian Way and Catacombs by bike. The ride to the Appian way was a little tricky. Narrow streets, traffic and cobblestone made it quite an adventure. Later we biked through a park with hills, mud and gravel. This is a tour for people who really bike! Do not take this tour if you are not comfortable with some challenging terrain. My husband and I were the oldest in the group,we are 50ish. In the end we loved the tour and had a fantastic time. No trouble keeping up-just be aware what you sign up for.the bikes were excellent, very good quality and easy to use.
