On arrival in Antwerp, you can admire the fabulous Art Nouveau Central Train Station before venturing into the Diamond District. This atmospheric quarter is a lively place with countless diamond showrooms and has a large Jewish influence still connected to the trade in diamonds.
After a hearty 3-course lunch it is time for a little window shopping at the Keyserlei and the Meir, noted as a center of fashion and then on to 'Rubenshuis' the home and studio of the Flemish master Pieter Paul Rubens. At nearby St Mary's Cathedral you can view some of his most evocative paintings along with works from other noted Flemish painters.
