Anichkov Bridge: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Anichkov Bridge
This was worthwhile and excellent although we could only use the ticket for one day. Ticket much cheaper than buying at St Isaacs ticket booth. Nice courteous English speaking staff. We took Green route on an older bus and Red on a newer one which had a slightly better sound system. Otherwise both excellent with good information and great views from the top deck. The roof was closed so the cabin quite warm. At least 48 hour ticket would be recommended as you need lots of time to see all of St Petersburg and hop on/off for all of its sites.
I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the Faberge Museum and nearby sites on Nevsky Prospekt . My guide Alexandra Vladimirova was extremely knowledgeable & explained the history of the Museum and its many art pieces very well. I would definately recommend this tour to other visitors interested in seeing the evolution of Russian history through the exquisite pieces of art, jewellery, sculptures & paintings over the centuries and the European multi-cultural influence on Russia's cultural history.
Excellent way to find your way round a new city
The bus left conveniently from St Isaac's Cathedral. The drivers, and the guides, were polite, informative and helpful. The biggest downer was that the buses are not air-conditioned and many of the windows do not open, which in a heatwave such as this made life very difficult - for staff as well as passengers.
Best option to tour the city if you have limited time. I would advise to take 48 days pass as that's what we took and gave us enough time to visit all the places at our own pace. Only problem is that the duration between busses is too long (may be due to the traffic)... Worth the money!
Excellent way to get around St. Petersburg's main tourist sites. We've always used City Sightseeing Hop-on/hop-off tour bus in most of the European cities we've been in and found it the quickest & safest way to get around. We've been very happy with their services so far...
