Enhance your St. Maarten holiday with a full-day sail to the gorgeous and unspoiled islands of sun and sand – Prickly Pear. Departing from Simpson Bay Resort, the Lambada sails down the coast of St. Maarten and across the Anguillan channel with a heading bound for Prickly Pear Cays. The 16-mile trip from St Maarten is about an hour and 45 minutes. After snorkeling the reefs at Prickly Pear, enjoy a tasty buffet of chicken and ribs served with tasty sides right on board the catamaran. Have a dip after lunch before we move onto the second stop of the day. On the way back to St Maarten, anchor off Mead's Bay for a refreshing swim before pulling up the sails for the trip back to Simpson Bay. During the nice leisurely sail back you’ll be treated to foot-tapping Caribbean rhythms and a tasty rum punch.

The Under Sint Maarten Underwater Sculpture Park is a breath-taking new eco-attraction, opened in December 2023 in Little Bay, Sint Maarten. With over 300 captivating artificial reef sculptures placed along a designated trail, this immersive experience offers guests an unforgettable snorkeling adventure. Floating gracefully above the underwater exhibition, guests can admire the sculptures that celebrate the island’s vibrant culture and history while providing a protected habitat for marine species to thrive—an extraordinary opportunity to witness the exciting life of a diverse aquatic ecosystem just beneath the surface. Cast exclusively from members of the local community, the underwater exhibition aims to bring the story of Sint Maarten to life through four distinct galleries that pay homage to Sint Maarten’s past and present. The galleries display a stunning and authentic evolution of the island’s history.

From the check in location you will be tendered to the trimaran. Get settled in while the sails are hoisted for a sail around the island, typically this is done clockwise. On the sail we will be passing the whole island, weather permitting, starting with Maho, Mullet Bay, Bay Longue, etc. On the first part we serve cake/almond croissant. Our first stop will be at Tintamarre Island where you can snorkel or swim. There are many turtles, rays and lots of fish....go out and find them. A gourmet sandwich lunch is served when you get back on board. Then we set sail again for the 2nd leg and we will be serving a tropical fruit platter. If weather / wind permits there will be a 2nd stop at Little Bay for a swim/snorkel looking foot he sunken helicopter and cannons. After this we will serve some nice tapas while making our way back to Simpson Bay at 16:00.

Board sail cat Mambo at Simpson Bay Resort Marina at 9am for a leisurely sail across the channel to Maunday's Bay Anguilla and then onto Rendezvous Bay. Rendezvous Bay welcomes you with a pristine, white, sandy beach. Enjoy crystal clear waters for snorkeling, swimming, cooling off or lounging in the water with a noodle! Relax, you are here to spend the day with great views of St. Maarten across the ocean. At noon, a delicious lunch is served right on board the sail catamaran. When your food has settled, opt to walk Rendezvous Bay...2 miles of powdery sand to stretch your legs. The call to leave comes all too soon. Board Mambo again and sail home to relaxing rhythms and the sound of the waves hugging the hulls. Your tropical experience is complete.
