Bleik: Whale Watching Trip by Speedboat with Tea and Muffins

1. Bleik: Whale Watching Trip by Speedboat with Tea and Muffins

Summer whale watching in magic Bleik (Andøy, Vesterålen), a 10-minute drive from Andenes. Vesterålen is Norway's hidden spot for fantastic wildlife, both on sea and land. Join our summer whale and wildlife RIB-boat excursion to explore the surface of the deep-water canyon of Bleik and its surroundings. The canyon is home to abundant marine wildlife, including the magnificent sperm whales. You will also have a chance to encounter other marine mammals, such as pilot whales, orcas, minke, and occasionally humpback whales. All these animals frequent the area in search of food (different fish species), which also attracts extraordinary birds and other wildlife. In searching for whales, we will most likely encounter different birds (puffins, eagles, gannets, etc.) while we keep our eyes open for Harbor seals. Join our 3,5 hours RIB boat excursion with a maximum of 12 guests to explore the wonders of Bleik Canyon. During the tour, a guide will be onboard to give you information about all the wildlife we encounter and take photos (as memories) to take them home with you after the trip. Trip duration: 3.5 hours (including getting ready (wearing warm flotation suits) onshore and Complementary tea and coffee while changing after the trip). Departures: 10:00 and 21:00 from Bleik Marina ( Look for the Green Gold of Norway sign (The legendary Green Dragon), where your skipper and guide will meet you.

What people are saying about Andøy

I did this tour on July 2023 It was amazing, we saw a family of 4 orca’s who were very playful with us. It was really a once in a lifetime experience. The guide was really passionate about the animals and was also very excited seeing them in a very playful way. We saw sealions, spermwhale and the muffins. The midnight sun added the cherry on top! Highly recommend

Luck is a great variable of experience. Visiting seals, eagles and puffins still makes for a very interesting experience, but the whale is what makes the ticket worth it. Without that it wouldn't have been the same. We saw a fin whale and the guide explained everything to us in detail (although he could have been more empathetic with the crew). Advise!!!

Everything was right from start to finish! The guides were super friendly, informative and really great with the animals. We saw a school of orcas and had enough time to interact and observe them. The guides always paid attention to the welfare of the animals. I would recommend it 100%!

We saw a sperm whale, dolphins and orcas and finally the puffins. Norbert and his colleague were super nice. I would recommend it anytime.

Highly recommended!!! Wonderful guide and skipper!!!we saw 2 wailles and it was amazing. Thank you for the once in a lifetime experience!
