Thought this was a great day trip, the coach was comfy and the audio guide whilst on the coach between locations was really good for information. I do however think it would have been nice to have a little extra time at each of the 3 places to explore just a little more, we were given around 45 minutes free time, but even though the towns are small there was so much to see and take in. The locations were beautiful and the tour guide gave us helpful tips, would definitely go back!
The tour was fantastic. I had no idea how close the Dutch windmills and native cities were to Amsterdam! If distance is your concern you have no concerns. It was a bit confusing finding the bus, and even staff asked me how I found it. But they were accommodating once I did. Once you’re in your way there’s a combination of prerecorded information in multiple languages with free headphones and a multilingual tour guide. Our guide knew 4 languages and gave all info in the dominant languages. A picturesque and beautiful tour of the outside of multiple and inside of one windmill. I had no idea how important these were to the survival of Amsterdam. Then a stop in a small town with a transfer to a boat that takes you to a quaint Dutch village with an, admittedly fast, cheese making tour and an, admittedly delicious, cheese tasting. Then a significant lunch break followed by an optional stoppwaffle making demonstration and options eating demonstration… and/or a longer break. Amazing tour 10/10
