You will learn about watermanegement while cycling over the embankments that keep the Dutch feet dry.
Halfway through the tour, stop for coffee in a lovely little restaurant in Holysloot, a tiny village in the farmlands of Holland. Ask your guide all your questions and enjoy a relaxing break in this peaceful place. The homemade apple pie that's served here is world-famous and the perfect fuel to keep you going. After the refreshment break, continue to Ransdorp. Witness the beauty of this former capital of the Waterland region with its iconic flat church tower and fascinating history.
Later, begin the journey back to the city. Before getting back, stop to see Holland's last chalk windmill for another iconic photo opportunity.
