The Heineken Experience ticket is for a specific timeslot you choose while making your reservation. You can only enter the museum at this specific time and changing your slot time is not possible
The ticket for the canal cruise is an open ticket. This means that no timeslot is allocated and you can board the next available boat at one of the two docks at either Hard Rock Cafe or Heineken Experience.

It was a slow start to the museum trip with the history but livened up with the games room and beer pouring. Straight out across to the canal cruise where we put on the next boat which was with a whole group of other people. We fitted in outside which was the best place for sight seeing although didn't get any audio. Overall enjoyable.

The brewery was a fun experience. The city canal tour was ok, i did learn cool stuff about Amsterdam but it was a bit boring. I thought it was a beer theme canal cruise that is hosted by Heinaken but it's a 2seperate activity by 2 different companies. So just be warned :)

The tour of the old Heineken brewery was kept short and sweet. If you want to learn a lot of history and the brewing process, you won't really have much fun here. A plus is the interactive gaming options and the free beer (although for the price one expects more). The canal cruise was relaxing. You get some interesting facts.
