Full description

With the Amsterdam Travel Ticket (ATT) you may travel by second-class train between Schiphol Amsterdam Airport and any of the following train stations in Amsterdam: Amstel, Bijlmer Arena, Central Station, Holendrecht, Lelylaan, Muiderpoort, RAI, Sciencepark, Sloterdijk, Zuid and Duivendrecht. The ticket is also valid on all trams, buses, night buses, metros, and ferries run by the Amsterdam Transport company: GVB. GVB operates an extensive network covering the whole of Amsterdam. Please note the ticket is not valid on buses operated by other transport companies such as EBS, Arriva and Connexxion (Except Connexxion buses 397 and N97). The ticket is valid on the Amsterdam Airport Express, bus 397, and Niteliner N97. Both are operated by Connexxion and depart from bus platform B17 at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport.

  • 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day travel ticket valid on the Amsterdam Airport Express (bus 397) and niteliner N97 operated by Connexxion, which brings you from the airport directly into the city center of Amsterdam; all train connections between Schiphol Airport and any train station in Amsterdam with NS; and all trams, buses, night buses, and metros in Amsterdam operated by GVB.

Know before you go

  • Please note that the voucher needs to be redeemed before usage
  • The travel ticket is only valid for travel within Amsterdam & Schiphol airport but not for the surrounding areas
  • This ticket is valid from the first time you check in until 4:00 AM the morning after the last valid day (depending on whether you have the 1, 2, or 3-day ticket). The day starts at midnight
  • For example: if you check in with the 2-day ticket from midnight (00:00) onwards on Wednesday, your ticket will be valid until 4:00 AM Friday morning

The flexibility of using train, tram and Metro was brilliant. We used all forms and found the regularity of timetables for all of them meant we never waited more than a few minutes. The network was extensive and allowed us to travel widely around Amsterdam to all of the attractions we had planned to see. We used both a three day pass and then a two day pass so we covered our stay. The cost of the travel tickets was excellent value for money. We have already recommended the travel tickets to our family and friends and will certainly use the system again on our next visit to Amsterdam. Bob and Sally

this was a great idea to get before we arrived so there was no stress at the station! great value got money and even if you don't end up using the trams (because maybe you have nice sunny weather) and happy to walk it is still worth it for the airport transfer anyway

It is the perfect way to travel. Buying the 3 day pass allows you the freedom to go all over Amsterdam. It can be incredibly busy at rush times. But the attendants are extremely helpful and friendly on the trams. They run regularly and I felt very safe. We also used the ticket on the subway with no problems. Remember to get your ticket at the machine initially, that was confusing, the machine has a bar code ON the screen stating SCAN, but you scan to the lower right of the machine , a little confusing! Overall , highly recommended
