Experience another side of Amsterdam on a guided 3-hour bike tour that has a different itinerary every week, depending on what’s happening around the city. Check out squats, street art, unique galleries, funky shops, live music, markets, and more.
What to Expect
This 3-hour guided bike tour of alternative Amsterdam is designed and priced for a small group of up to 4 participants. When the sun is out, you’ll head to places that are off the beaten track, visiting live music gigs, performances, mini festivals, exhibitions, and outdoor markets. Amsterdam comes alive on a sunny day and you’ll get to experience the festive vibe!
Your tour will be led by an enthusiastic, friendly guide, who is passionate about the city and involved in their field of expertise, whether it’s street art and graffiti, coffee shops, local bars, or squat culture.
If the weather is a little gloomy, the tour will focus on alternative galleries and museums, with visits to between 5 and 8 unique, independent sites. You’ll get to see street art, contemporary, design, and bizarre. Meet the curators in person and get up close and personal with outstanding art without the crowds.
At the start of the tour, you’ll be given a free map and asked what you’d like to see and do while you’re in Amsterdam. Places of personal interest, as well as the guide’s top local recommendations will then be marked out on your map and pointed out to you during the ride.
Groups are kept small so that everyone gets personal attention and can enjoy a more intimate atmosphere.
