Day 1 : Nairobi to Maasai Mara At 8 o'clock you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara. You will pass via the great rift valley view point where you will have a stop over of 10 -15 minutes to view the rift valley. Lunch will be at the camp in Maasai Mara. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a sunset evening game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp for buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at Enkajiang camp or similar. Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. At midday, You will have picnic lunch in the park which is provided by us. You will visit the site of the yearly wildebeest migration and see the resident crocodiles and hippos sited at the banks of Mara river. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures. Dinner and overnight at Enkajiang Camp/Rhino Tourist camp or simillar Day 3: Depart Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park You will have an early breakfast then checkout. Thereafter head to Nakuru. Dinner and overnight in Lanet Matfam Resort http://lanetmatfamresort.co.ke/ Day 4 : Nakuru to Amboseli National Park You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. Morning breakfast and start the game drive around the park and get to visit the obervation point over looking the whole park on a birds eye view angle. Continue with the game drives as you look for the predators i.e the lions and cheetahs. Amboseli is rich with elephant species which are in many herds and also you can view the great mountain of kilimanjaro slopes and whole view. The trek will start early at 4.30 a.m. on the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway, offering you the opportunity to witness a luminous Kenya sunrise and the picturesque African savannah. After approximately 3-4 hours, you will arrive at Amboseli National Park and begin your first game drive. With the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop (weather permitting), you will have the chance to spot herds of protected elephants, many of which have immense ivory tusks. To enhance your wildlife viewing experience, a ride up to Observation Hill will provide a panoramic vista of the entire park. From this vantage point, you can observe the swamps where elephants gather daily. Day 1 Enjoy the convenience of being picked up from your accommodations in Nairobi at 7 am. Drive south across the Athi Plain, home to the Masai, and continue to Amboseli National Park. Arrive mid-day, freshen up and enjoy a short rest before your safari. Afterward, explore the park and spot herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests. Travel through the park in a customized van which allows for easy game viewing. Discover giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas and antelope in their natural habitat. All the while Mt. Kilimanjaro provides a dramatic backdrop. Overnight AA Lodge or similar. Day 2 Wake up early in the morning to see Mount Kilimanjaro, and take an early morning game drive. Marvel Mount Kilimanjaro as it's illuminated by the early morning light, revealing darks hues of purple, and turning its snow an ethereal pink. Enjoy an iconic African sight: herds of African elephants crossing the Amboseli plains with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Animals are most active in the morning, so you'll be able to see the wildlife hunt and play in the early morning light. After the game drive, head back to camp for breakfast and then return to Nairobi.

Between 1500 and 1800 CE, societies in East Africa were still very much taking shape with a very large number of quite separate communities. The Maasai (or Masai) people are an East African tribe who today principally occupy the territory of southern Kenya and northern Tanzania, and who speak the language of the same name. The Nilo-Saharan Maasai migrated southwards to that region in the 16/17th centuries CE, and they thrived thanks to their skills in animal husbandry, especially the herding of cattle. Maasai warriors are particularly famous for their height, stamina, and striking red hair and their success in warfare brought them domination of the Rift Valley grasslands. The Maasai Mara game reserve in southern Kenya is named in honor of the tribe which still lives there.

If you’d like you can take an optional visit with the Maasai to meet them and learn about their culture and lifestyle (time permitting) We’ll settle in at Oltukai lodge for lunch, one of the nicest restaurants in the park at around 1.30 p.m. and enjoy a sumptuous lunch or you may carry your own picnic lunch to be enjoyed at the observation hill. After lunch we shall have a short enroute game drive of the day. This will be a shorter tour, but we may spot elephants roaming from the marshes as they tend to later in the day. Having taken in the best of Amboseli, we head back to the highway and to the capital city of Nairobi, arriving in the evening. This has been a full day of sights, sounds, magnificent wildlife and a glimpse into the safari life in Africa. Kibera slum is located in Nairobi, about 6.6 kilometres (4.1 miles) from the City Centre. It is the largest slum in Africa, and one of the largest in the world. We are a team of 4 local guides; ERICK, SAMUEL, BENTA and JACK. We were all born, raised and still live here in Kibera Community. We have first-hand insights into the authentic daily life in the Kibera neighborhood. This tour enables our guests to learn more about the local community's way of life and the history of Kibera slum. The income generated from the booking fees, helps us in paying school fees for orphans and vulnerable kids and funding many other social projects here in Kibera slum. We run a social impact tour business called OAC Kenya Tours (www.oackenya.weebly.com). It is a vehicle for positive change. Join us in our journey towards social impact, where every booking you make helps to uplift and support orphans and vulnerable children. 50% of the booking fees from this tour goes back to the community. Home Visit The second stop which is the main stop is home Visit where we will welcome you inside one of the residential houses here in the slum to let you learn more about our way of life like how we get water, electricity, bathroom system, typical house size and so on. 3. Crafts Centre You will witness how locals recycle materials to make jewelry and other handmade items. 4. KCOOP Children's Centre We run this Children's Centre and it serves orphans and vulnerable kids 5. Cafeteria For a short rest and soft drinks as we chat about Kibera.
