What people are saying about Alþingi
it was good day out. sit on the right hand side of the bus so you can take pics of the beautiful sites/landscapes. first cafe hot chocolate was well nice the second and 3rd cafe hot chocolate I didn't like I don't know why it tasted different but the chocolate cake in the 3rd was well nice so that's a must for the chocolate lovers. it's cold on the face in the winter so buy something to cover the face. definitely a must even tho our tour guide was boring and I felt like falling asleep due to no excitement in the voice and alot of ermmms but still good and defo worth the money :)..
The snowmobiling was cancelled because of bad weather, we were contacted the day before by customer services who were so helpful and lovely, and were given the choice to do buggying instead, which we agreed to. Haffy the golden circle tour guide was amazing, he still took us out even though it was just me and my partner on the tour, it was literally a private tour, such a wonderful day and then the buggying at the end was amazing. Honestly would recommend, you won't be disapointed at all!
The tour guide was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and fun. I lost one of my gloves at the Globe and he offered to try to get it when he went back with his afternoon tour. Well he did find it and personally dropped it back at my hotel. I don’t remember his name but my tour was on Wed morning on March 11. He was also multi-lingual and gave his tour in several languages accommodating everyone by speaking their language. Whoever gets my tour guide will be blessed.
Fantastic day from start to finish. Peter (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable and made us feel extremely safe while driving on unclear roads. His was I obviously was very passionate about Iceland and pointed out many aspects of interest whilst transporting us to each stop of our golden circle and snowmobiling tour. Would definitely recommend and would rebook the same tour if we ever get a chance to come back in the future!!
From start to finish it was amazing!!!! Kupa(apologies if any correct) was first class, little snippets of local knowledge along the way have you more of an incite to this amazing country. The snowmobiling itself was out of this world with Kupa and Herman guiding us on an incredible journey to a glacier.
