What to Expect
Ayers Rock is something to behold. As we drive through the desert landscape, this massive rock rises in the distance. Standing at its sacred base will inspire you, just as it has for countless men and women since the dawn of history.
Today, you'll get the chance to experience Ayers Rock (Uluru) at its best time of day - sunrise. Its golden red color changes by the hour, and you will experience its natural wonder, standing serene in the silent desert.
On your adventure, enjoy complimentary Billy Tea or a cool drink as we take in the superb views of Mt. Conner mesa and experience the awe-inspiring Ayers Rock. We will take a complete tour around the base of Uluru while learning about its history and legends from your expert guide. After, we'll have the chance to take a guided walking tour to the Mutitulu Waterhole, where you can glimpse original Aboriginal art. Your guide will help explain the stories and share with you the deeply spiritual nature of this place.
On our way back, we'll have a chance to experience Uluru again by sunset! This time, enjoy sparkling wine or juice followed by a sunset buffet consisting of cold meats, garden salad and breads! We will return you to Alice Springs in the evening by bus.
