See some of the many treasures of Alicante and discover the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine on a 3-hour tapas tour.
In the company of an expert local guide you’ll begin by visiting the Pozos de Garrigós, a 16th-century cistern, and continue on to the Santa Cruz neighborhood for the first tapas stop. Enjoy a walk through the old city center as you experience some typical Mediterranean tapas.
Explore La Rambla and taste some of the delicious delicatessen offerings. En route from one bar to the next, you’ll see the St. Nicholas Co-Cathedral, built in the Herrerian Renaissance style over the remains of a mosque.
Nearby you’ll note other interesting buildings, including the Baroque Town Hall, dating from the 18th century. You’ll also take in the Modernist Palace, or Carbonell House, built in 1924, and Spanish Boulevard with it's typical Mediterranean flavor, palm trees, and harbor views.
The final stop will be near Spanish Boulevard, where you’ll enjoy one last tapa and drink while soaking up the charming atmosphere.
